FAQs

Questions we hear most often from properties considering Bliss, and from their guests.

Nothing. The guest pays a small fee for the option to spread the cost of their stay, and the property receives the full booking amount under its existing terms. There is nothing for the hotel to pay.

No. Bliss is not a lender and does not extend credit. The guest saves a card at booking, and we collect the balance on a schedule that finishes before arrival. There is no credit check, no interest, and nothing is owed after check-in.

It stays exactly as it is. The cancellation policy shown to the guest at booking is the one that applies, and Bliss does not change or override it. If a guest cancels, your usual terms decide what is refunded.

No. Bliss runs inside the checkout you already use and appears as an additional payment option alongside paying in full. Your booking flow, your rates, and your confirmation process stay the same.

Payouts follow the schedule agreed during onboarding. The guest's full balance is collected before check-in, so the property is never waiting on a guest after they arrive.

We retry the payment automatically and let the guest know what happened so they can update their card. The property can see the status of every plan at any time, and nothing about the booking changes without the hotel knowing.
