Privacy Policy

Last updated September 14, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Bliss Payments, Inc. ("Bliss", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with the Bliss payment plan service, our websites, and related communications (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. Bliss acts as a service provider to the lodging property with which you transact; that property's own privacy practices govern its independent use of your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including name, email address, telephone number, billing and postal address, and reservation details such as property, stay dates, and booking amount. Payment card data is collected and tokenized by our PCI DSS compliant payment processor; Bliss does not store full card numbers. We collect account credentials and contact information from property personnel who administer the Service. We also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, device and browser characteristics, and interaction data, through server logs and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to establish, schedule, and collect payments under a payment plan; to deliver receipts, reminders, and service notices; to provide customer support; to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, and other prohibited activity; to satisfy legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations; to enforce our terms; and to maintain, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Disclosure of Information

We disclose personal information to the property with which you have reserved a stay; to our payment processor and banking partners for the purpose of processing transactions; to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including hosting, communications, analytics, and customer support, each of which is contractually restricted from using the information for any other purpose; to professional advisors; to governmental authorities and other parties where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bliss, our users, or others; and to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information and have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months.

5. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and periodic review of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including the duration of any payment plan and any subsequent period required to resolve disputes, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and maintain accounting records. When retention is no longer required, information is deleted or de-identified.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Requests may be submitted to info@bliss-payments.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time period required by applicable law. Where a request concerns information held by a property, we may direct you to that property or coordinate with it on your behalf. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time; transactional and service messages related to an active payment plan will continue.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

Bliss is headquartered in the United States and processes personal information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by revising the date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
